What drives your motivation to be a donor and volunteer for the Bulls Club?
As a former scholarship athlete at USF, I was able to receive a college education that otherwise would have been challenging financially for my parents. Therefore I know first hand the impact of the Bulls Club for current student-athletes. I credit my education and subsequent career, to the fact that I received a scholarship, and for that reason, it is important to me to give back.
Favorite USF Athletics Memory?
From a personal perspective, I have two: first, being a member of the swim team and winning the NCAA Division II championship team in 1985 and second, being inducted into the inaugural class for the Hall of Fame with all my teammates and coaches. It was an honor words can't even begin to describe and a memory that I will cherish forever.
From a fan's perspective, being able to watch the football team run out of the tunnel in 1997. It was truly magical and the start of big things for USF athletics. Also, being able to watch the USF softball team win that crucial game 3 to reach the 2012 College World Series, where every single pitch for 3 grueling games counted, the celebration that erupted with that final out, was just incredible.
